These sessions are perfect for newborns, young families, or anyone who wants their story told in the most natural, heartfelt way — no posing necessary, just presence.

I’ll guide you into gentle, meaningful moments that unfold naturally, capturing the movement, connection, and delight that make your family beautifully yours. These sessions celebrate the beauty in your everyday story — wild, free, and full of life.

Mini Portrait Session
My mini portrait sessions are designed to capture heartfelt moments in a short and meaningful window of time. Perfect for updated portraits, little milestones, or just documenting the beauty of your right now. I’ll guide you every step of the way with gentle direction and prompts that bring out real connection and emotion.
Please note: Mini sessions are not suited for newborn photography. For those tender early days, I offer full-length sessions that allow the time and pace newborns need. Mini sessions are only available on weekdays.

Do you travel for sessions?
Absolutely—I love exploring new places and documenting stories wherever you are. Travel fees apply for sessions beyond a 20‑mile radius; please inquire for a custom quote.
How do I book and secure my session date?
Simply reach out via the inquiry form to check availability. A signed agreement and non‑refundable deposit are required to reserve your date; the remaining investment is due one week before your session.
Where do we shoot, and can you suggest locations?
I’m happy to photograph you anywhere that feels meaningful—your home, a nearby park, or a special family landmark. If you’d like ideas, I’ll share a curated list of light‑filled spots perfect for storytelling.
What should we wear?
Choose outfits that feel comfortable and cohesive—think layers, soft textures, and a harmonious color palette. Avoid large logos or overly bright colors; I’ll send a more detailed email to help you coordinate effortlessly.
How many images will we receive?
For outdoor sessions, you can expect approximately 80-100 fully edited high‑resolution images; indoor sessions typically yield around 100-150 images.
when and how will we receive our images?
Your full gallery is delivered via a private online album 2–3 weeks after our session. From there, you can download, share, and order prints or products directly.
What happens if we need to reschedule or the weather turns?
Life happens! If weather or illness interferes, we’ll find a new date that works for your family. Reschedules are complimentary if arranged at least 48 hours in advance.
Zhanna has a magic touch with kids
As most mothers probably do, I went into our session with Zhanna a little anxious that my children just wouldn’t be able to hang. I feared tears and tantrums and fake smiles. But much to my delight, the entire session went perfectly from the moment Zhanna stepped inside! Zhanna has a magic touch with kids. She put them at ease and gave them the sense that they were directing the flow of things. She listened intently and asked them questions, giving them the stage to show off their little budding personalities. She was silly and fun. Their smiles were genuine, not forced. And so were mine! The experience was filled with joy and laughter, and resulted in gorgeous photographs, to boot! The photos will be treasured and will forever remind me of the hour we spent simply enjoying each other’s company, in this fleeting season, while Zhanna snapped away. I highly recommend Zhanna as your family photographer!
